It's a short but steep 700m to the thermal pool, which is permanently heated to 27 degrees by a natural spring. Measuring about 20 metres long and 2.5 metres deep, the main pool gently overflows like a waterfall into a children’s wading pool.
In winter, it’s magical to float in the warmth, watching the steam rise from the surface of the water, with snow blanketing the ground around you.
There’s a picnic area next to the pool, as well as change rooms and toilets.
The thermal pool is currently closed - due to reopen later in the year.
