Kookawood Rural Retreat

Kookawood is a charming, stone cottage set on a spectacular ridge in the Blue Mountains. The two-bedroom cottage is decorated like the farm houses of old – full of antique furniture, trinkets that evoke an old-fashioned rural life, and a fireplace to warm your feet during snowy winters. Outside, set yourself in deck chairs, around the fire pit or in the spectacular outdoor bath and take in the cottage garden flowers, the fresh bush air and the epic Blue Mountains views. Pets are welcome, and the rear garden is fully fenced.

The property is around an hour from the Blue Mountains’ centre of Katoomba, and around 25 minutes from the quaint country town Tarana.
