Jenolan Caves Tours
Overview
Have fun and be amazed. The awe-inspiring caves at Jenolan are Australia's most spectacular and are amongst the world's oldest. Jenolan is Australia's largest cave system that is open to the public. Several dramatic caves present a labyrinth of ancient limestone caverns and passageways, richly draped with calcite crystal and cut by subterranean rivers.
Guided tours let you explore this mysterious underworld. For these experiences, pre-booking is absolutely essential. And, due to roadworks, you must arrive at least 1 hour before your first booked activity.
Jenolan is nestled in the magnificent Blue Mountains World Heritage Area and has been an animal sanctuary for 100 years. If you just love bushwalking, no payment or booking is needed. Ramble along tranquil bush tracks. Glimpse native wildlife, including shy platypus, wallabies and lyrebirds. Afterwards, relax at the Caves Cafe or cosy Jeremiah's Bar, upstairs in Caves House.
Jenolan is the perfect escape. Stay for an afternoon or take a couple of days to really unwind! Please check out the Jenolan Caves website for updated tour details.
