Central Coast 

On the Central Coast is Australia’s largest horse riding centre - Glenworth Valley Outdoor Adventures. Here you’ll find 3,000 acres of unspoilt wilderness where you can take guided rides, have a riding lesson or hire horses to explore on your own.

North Coast

Ride along the beautiful sandy beaches of Port Stephens with Sahara Trails, a magical experience across the dunes and pristine coastline of the Worimi Conservation Lands. Further north in Coffs Harbour, HWH Stables offers rides along Boambee Beach or through the lush Orara Valley.

Blue Mountains

Country NSW

The Snowy Mountains is the home of the wild brumby and Australia’s highest peak. You’ll find exhilarating horse riding adventures in the legendary high country and Kosciuszko National Park, such as multi-day camping treks with Cochran Horse Treks.

The 11 Day Leconfield Jackaroo and Jillaroo School, in Tamworth, teaches you how to be a real cowboy or cowgirl and the art of natural horsemanship, a method of training popularised by the film The Horse Whisperer. At Harlow Park in Uralla, you can stay on a farm and enjoy various trail rides.

The Hunter Valley

In the Hunter Valley you’ll find a great selection of riding schools and companies, including Hunter Valley Horse Riding in RothburyChapman Valley Horse Riding and Hunter Valley Horses in Pokolbin. The latter offers Horse and Carriage Wine Tasting Tours.

South Coast

Join Regal Horse Riding School in Shoalhaven for a ride along Seven Mile Beach.  Further north at Stanwell Tops is Otford Farm, which has been operating since 1961, offering rides through lush rainforest and native bush as well as lessons with their experienced instructors.
