Camp in national parks

Camp a stone’s throw from the beach at Bristol Point, Cave Beach and Green Patch campgrounds, all within Jervis Bay's Booderee National Park. In this beautiful park, explore bushwalking and cycling tracks; swim in the surf; try fishing, stand-up paddleboarding and snorkelling; or get out on the water by hiring a boat.

A place of significance to the local indigenous people, Booderee National Park has an active Aboriginal cultural program. Join a guided bushwalk, listen to campfire stories, participate in a weaving workshop or learn about bush tucker and medicinal uses of plants. There’s also a school holiday program for kids.

Depot Beach cabins, Murramarang National Park, Jervis Bay and Shoalhaven

Further south is Murramarang National Park, known for its excellent beaches and wildlife. The park's beachfront caravan sites and campgrounds include Depot Beach cabins, Durras Lake North Holiday Park and BIG4 South Durras Holiday Park. There’s also a beachside campground at Depot Beach, great for coastal walks, fishing and swimming.

Prime position for whale watching

From May to November, there’s excellent whale watching in the area. You’ll find spectacular clifftop vantage points at Abrahams Bosom Reserve, an easy walk from campsites at Holiday Haven Currarong. Holiday Haven Bendalong and Holiday Haven Ulladulla Headland are also located on headlands great for whale watching.
