Charlotte Le Lievre - Songs from the Barrier Line Album Launch Show

Alt-country singer/songwriter Charlotte Le Lievre celebrates the release of her debut album 'Songs from the Barrier Line' with a special launch show at the Palace Hotel, Broken Hill. Accompanied by her full band, Charlotte will play songs from her new record, which deeply references her connection to Broken Hill. Featuring support sets by local songstress Aimee Volkofsky and Central Victorian guitar picker Jess Parker.

Charlotte Le Lievre is a musician and songwriter based between Melbourne and Broken Hill. Her debut album was recorded live to tape by engineer Alex Bennett on Dja Dja Wurrung in Campbell’s Creek in June 2022 and features 10 original songs that are simultaneously heart-breaking and uplifting. The record is an honest and cathartic exploration of the grief Charlotte experienced after losing her mum in 2019. It is also a love letter to Wilyakali and Barkindji country of Far West NSW and the healing nature of connection to place, history and collective struggle.
