Cannonball Mountain Bike Festival presented by Boost Mobile

The pinnacle of MTB competition returns in 2023 with nonstop racing, activations, live music and good times! With five massive events, categories for all ages and abilities + a prize purse of over AUD100K, Cannonball is a must-do on any mountain bikers’ bucket list.

Catering for amateurs, rising stars & World Champions, Cannonball will see the mountain bike world hit Thredbo for a massive week of gravity fuelled mountain biking.

For 2023, the AusCycling Australian Nationals MTB Championships is coming to Thredbo, featuring the Downhill and Pump Track titles as part of the Cannonball event schedule. The amalgamation of both races will see competitors racing for green and gold jerseys as well as Cannonball cash and prizes in the one singular race.

The action doesn’t limit itself to the race tracks with the famous Thredbo night life kicking into gear with an impressive line-up of entertainment all week including North East Party House (DJ Set) sending the festival off in style on Saturday night!
