The baths are currently closed for the summer and will reopen again in April 2023.
The Burren Junction Bore Baths and Camp Ground are located in a rural setting, 100 metres off the Kamilaroi Highway on a sealed road. The baths are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week (may close seasonally) and are a popular meeting place for locals and visitors. The artesian water flowing from the bore maintains a constant temperature of approximately 38 degrees Celsius and contains reputed therapeutic qualities that relieve aching muscles.
Camping is available and there is an amenities block with electricity, poolside showers and barbecue facilities, filtered water and a dump point.
Please note there is an AUD6 per night charge for camping per vehicle.
Food and other retail outlets are three kilometres away in Burren Junction.
