Abercrombie House, the Bathurst region’s grand heritage treasure and private home of the Morgan family, is open regularly throughout the year for guided and self-guided tours.
The experience includes exploring the main areas of the 50-room, 1870s Scottish baronial mansion, along with the grounds, gardens and outbuildings of the 18-hectare property. Check the calendar for special events including concerts, themed days, high-tea days and Sunday roast lunches. There are also kids’ night tours and cèilidhs (folk dances) on select dates.
Antiques and collectables are on sale in the gift and souvenir shop, and on weekends and public holidays a barista brews coffee from local Fish River Roasters beans.
